Why he keeps getting asked
Conferences invite speakers who can answer the question the room is actually holding. In andrology that question is rarely theoretical. It is some version of: the report came back normal, so why can this couple not conceive.
Answering it means going past count and motility, into vitality, morphology under strict criteria, and DNA fragmentation. Those are laboratory skills, and most of the people in the room have never watched them performed. So they get a session from someone who does it every day, with the fields projected rather than described.
That has been the pattern since 2001. Societies, medical colleges, hospital departments and annual conferences keep asking, because the gap keeps being there.
